The New Design: a revolution for thinking and working

To further push the limits and boundaries of an art and design practice, POD DESIGN NYC has established a new methodology for producing work. The new revolution will be intense bursts of energy and design. Each project receives our complete, 24 hour-a-day attention for a specified amount of time. During that time our only focus is on that one single project. The client has total access to us 24 hours a day, seven days a week via meetings, mobile, email, video conference, etc. How does it work? It works like this. The client hires POD for a design proposal of X. POD determines the design schedule and sets the dates. There is an initial meeting with the client to establish all criteria and the work begins. The client is free to come by each day to check on the status of the work and to ask questions. All decisions will be made within the established timeframe so work moves very fast. Color, light, space, function, use and performance are all addressed within the design parameters. No other work will be scheduled during that time. POD will meet with the client as many times as it takes to complete the design. Once the time is up and the design completed, POD will hire the Architect of Record for the client to oversee the construction and complete the project.
